Need to find an email quickly? Instead of scrolling down your inbox, use the Search Mail feature.
Above the blue bar above your emails is a white box with a Search Mail button to the right. Enter text in the white box, such as the name of the person you’re looking for or a subject or even a piece of text that you know is in the email that you’re looking for.
Click the Search Mail button.
Your inbox messages are replaced with the search results. Depending on how you searched, there could still be quite a few messages to go through, but it will bring up the relevant ones.
If you know the approx. date the email came in, you can refine your search by scrolling while looking at the dates for each message on the far right.
If you click on a message and it’s not the one you’re looking for, click the back arrow on your browser and it will take you back to your search results.
To get back to your inbox, just click the link for the inbox.
